Claark Partington, a Gulf Coast regional law firm, is seeking a Civil Law Specialist to join its growing team in Pensacola. As a Civil Law Specialist, you will be responsible for handling complex civil litigation cases, including construction, real estate, contract, employment, directors' and officers' liability, and professional liability.

The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience in civil litigation, including drafting pleadings, arguing motions, and managing litigation strategy. A strong understanding of state and federal litigation procedures is also required.

The salary for this position is estimated at $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting pleadings and related documents for state and federal litigation and arbitration
  • Arguing motions, including dispositive motions
  • Managing litigation and litigation strategy from inception through discovery and trial
  • High level of detail-orientation and exceptional research, writing and proofreading skills
  • Working knowledge of the processes of State and Federal litigation including trial procedures, discovery and document production
