About the Job

This full-time Resource Teacher role involves working closely with teachers and administrators to develop and implement instructional plans that cater to diverse student needs. Your expertise will be utilized to create engaging lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations that align with the Archdiocese's Academic and Religious Standards.

Main Tasks
  • Instructional Planning: Collaborate with teachers to design and deliver lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods and technologies.
  • Student Progress Monitoring: Develop and administer assessments to measure student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness to inform instruction.
  • Classroom Environment: Establish a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters academic success and social growth.
  • Communication: Maintain accurate records of student progress, communicate effectively with parents and administrators, and provide timely feedback to students.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Current teacher certification in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, DC
