We are seeking a Production Lead to enhance our exceptional teams that create outstanding products and drive our expansion.
Reporting to the Associate Production Supervisor, the Production Lead is tasked with delivering guidance and oversight to teams of non-exempt personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on coaching and training to team members. Engage in process enhancement and cost reduction initiatives. Manage personnel resource needs within the department. Assist in planning departmental budgets and oversee expenditures. Communicate daily objectives and address any production or service challenges. Identify material shortages and collaborate with procurement on supply issues. Monitor and address bottlenecks in production. Report and notify relevant parties regarding downtime incidents. Collaborate with maintenance on equipment-related issues. Track time for new product introductions, pre-production, and rework activities. Ensure effective communication with opposite shifts. Update departmental communication boards regularly. Adhere to quality metrics and take action if indicators fall below established targets. Serve as the primary contact for addressing scrap occurrences in any process stage. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve shared objectives.Qualifications:
High School Diploma, Associate's Degree, vocational or technical training, or equivalent experience. 2-4 years of relevant experience. Ability to adapt and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Strong attention to detail and quality.Benefits:
