BIM Technical Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Technical Manager to join our Walmart Sector team at Henderson Engineers, Inc. As a BIM Technical Manager, you will play a critical role in aligning discipline-specific engineering approaches across the sector, maintaining consistency with company-wide quality strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively monitor technical quality within the sector, responding appropriately to areas of concern or options for improvement.
  • Share ongoing feedback to sector leadership regarding the performance quality of production staff.
  • Manage quality-assurance tools, processes, and databases, ensuring judicious application of these resources.
  • Provide quality control for projects.
  • Oversee technical training and mentoring needs of the sector and provide ongoing mentoring to production teams within the sector.
  • Identify, delegate, and execute process improvement strategies and tasks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, science, or technology preferred.
  • Relevant experience in leadership/management position will be considered in lieu of requisite education.
  • Eight (8+) or greater years of relevant experience, with a minimum of two (2+) years leadership/management experience, preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge in discipline of expertise and track record of technical excellence in such field.
  • Experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud, Tandem, Maximo, or similar applications.
  • Knowledge of Dynamo and subsequent programming language(s).
