About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Director to join our team at Pyramid Global Hospitality. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the overall management of our resort's facilities and maintenance departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our resort's physical structure, including all mechanical systems, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and other related equipment.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of maintenance staff and outside contractors to ensure the efficient and effective operation of our facilities.
  • Budget Management: Assist in the creation of the annual operating budget for payroll, expenses, utilities, and capital improvements.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations, and maintain a working knowledge of all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Contract Management: Solicit and negotiate agreements and contracts with consultants and contractors, and manage the procurement and compliance with entitlements, permits, inspections, notices, and other requirements.
  • Communication: Act as a resource for all departments of the resort, and direct ADA compliance efforts of the property.

Requirements:

  • Strong Background: A strong background in hotel/resort facilities management, with a passion for providing customer service and a high level of motivation.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to lead a team and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and management.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
