Job Description
As a Mosquito Hunters Technician, you will be responsible for applying mosquito control products to client properties, participating in marketing initiatives, and delivering outstanding customer experiences. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in an outdoor environment.
Responsibilities
- Represent the company: Maintain a high level of customer service and represent Mosquito Hunters in a professional manner.
- Drive to client locations: Safely transport equipment and materials to client properties.
- Survey properties: Identify mosquito habitats and breeding grounds on client properties.
- Larvicide application: Reduce or apply larvicide to standing water on client properties.
- Control product application: Use a 60 lb backpack sprayer to apply control products to surrounding foliage.
- Client recommendations: Make personalized recommendations to clients based on their specific needs.
- Marketing efforts: Assist with marketing initiatives, including distributing door hangers or lawn signs.
Qualifications
- No prior experience necessary
- Age requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Driver's license: Possess a valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation: Have access to reliable transportation.
- Insurance: Provide proof of insurance.
- Lifting capability: Be able to lift a minimum of 45 lbs.
- Outdoor enthusiasm: Enjoy working outdoors.
- Personality traits: Possess excellent communication and customer service skills, be energetic, hardworking, and reliable.
- Independence: Excel in a position of independence and responsibility.
- Licensing exam: Be willing to take a state licensing exam (training and payment provided).
