Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Member Service Officer to join our team at First Entertainment Credit Union. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional member service experiences to our current and potential members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide floater coverage for our branches to ensure seamless operations.
  • Build and maintain strong member relationships by identifying opportunities to offer products and services that meet their financial needs.
  • Assist members with their financial needs by providing expert advice and guidance on our products and services.
  • Actively promote marketing campaigns and promotions to educate members about the benefits and value of our offerings.
  • Engage in follow-up communication with members to ensure their requests are met and their needs are exceeded.
  • Assist with troubleshooting account matters, such as account fraud, errors, and card issues.
  • Present information and perform tasks associated with memberships, accounts, and ancillary services offered by the Credit Union.
  • Accept consumer loan applications and follow up with members on documentation and loan closures.
  • Educate and promote remote delivery channels to increase alternative channel usage.
  • Serve in a dual control capacity for operational tasks to ensure adequate controls are maintained.
  • Promptly and accurately complete required reports and records.
  • Perform cold sales calls to generate new deposits and loans and sales calls to existing members to cross-sell Credit Union products and services.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of applicable experience as a Member Service Representative/New Accounts at a full-service financial institution.
  • Proven success at exceeding goals or cross-sell expectations.
  • Excellent customer service, problem-solving, conflict resolution, organization, and sales skills.
  • Stellar communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Thorough knowledge of Credit Union products and services, procedures and guidelines, and field of membership requirements.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of regulations applicable to essential responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of how to use a personal computer and MS Office products on a daily basis.
