Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - Covid Unit

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Covid Unit team at Franciscan Villa Assisted Living. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents while working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents, supervising nursing assistants and CMAs, and maintaining accurate records. This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our residents and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing wound care.
  • Supervise nursing assistants and CMAs, ensuring they are following established policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including medication administration records and resident charts.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence.
Requirements:
  • Current LPN licensure in the state of Oklahoma.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
