Surgical Nurse Specialist

As a Surgical Nurse Specialist, you will work alongside surgeons in the operating room, providing direct patient care and assisting with patient management. This role requires extensive surgical experience and additional training, with many nurses obtaining certification in perioperative nursing or advanced practice nursing credentials.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients before, during, and after surgery
- Provide pre and post-operative patient education
- Monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being
- Collaborate with physicians and hospital staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Minimum of 1-2 years OR experience
- Current ACLS & BLS certification
- Current state license
- Travel experience a plus
