STV is actively seeking qualified candidates for the role of Resident Engineer within our esteemed Transportation division.

Our expanding Transportation Group is looking for multiple Resident Engineers and Assistant Resident Engineers to oversee significant bridge, highway, and rail reconstruction initiatives, ranging from $10M to $1B. Ideal candidates will possess extensive knowledge in bridge, rail, highway, and deep foundation construction. The role requires effective management of a team of 5+ Construction Managers/Construction Inspectors, along with strong communication, technical, and writing abilities. Proficiency in CPM Scheduling is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of staff and administration of contracts.
  • Management of sub-consultants, project costs, change orders, and scheduling.
  • Implementation of safety management protocols and business development strategies.
  • Acting as the primary contact during construction phases.
  • Execution of the Project Work Plan, Health & Safety Plan, Quality Control Plan, and related documentation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years on projects valued at $10M or more.
  • Experience in bridge, highway, and railroad construction projects.
  • Professional Engineer license or NICET Level 4 in Highway Construction.
  • Experience with PennDOT, PA Turnpike, NJDOT, NJ Turnpike, NJ Transit, and DPRA.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., CapEx, Site Manager, ECMS).
  • Possession of certifications such as NJSAT, ACI, NECEPT Asphalt, ACI CCTC, and Rutgers TCC.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is between $109,000 and $146,616.00.
