Key Responsibilities:

The Staff Accountant will:
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned engagements with minimal errors.
  • Engage with clients to streamline workflow processes.
  • Conduct research and maintain proficiency in professional standards.
  • Learn and adhere to the firm's policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the recruitment, mentoring, and professional development of interns and staff.
  • Prepare audit documentation and files.
  • Execute audit programs for designated audit areas.
  • Complete audit workpapers utilizing client-provided information.
  • Review and assess finalized financial statements.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required; a 150-hour degree is preferred.
  • A willingness to travel as needed.
  • Progress towards the CPA exam is advantageous.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Effective leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional customer service capabilities.
  • A self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and analytical tasks.
  • Experience with ProSystems Engagement software is a plus.

Technical Skills:
