Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary starting at $80,000 annually, along with:

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage both Managers and Staff
  • Ensure service quality is upheld through effective execution of service protocols
  • Maintain a clear vision aligned with business and marketing objectives
  • Develop strategies for risk management and mitigation
  • Represent the organization in addressing and resolving grievances
  • Adhere to all corporate mandates
  • Update and monitor daily operational reports

Staffing and Team Development

  • Assess staffing needs, create plans for improvement, and identify growth opportunities
  • Conduct interviews, screenings, and recruitment of candidates
  • Coach, train, and develop both management and hourly staff
  • Oversee team performance, including morale and productivity
  • Regularly review performance in accordance with management guidelines

Fiscal Responsibility

  • Monitor activities and expenses
  • Set and evaluate sales forecasts and profitability reports
  • Keep the Director of Operations informed of sales and critical issues
  • Enhance sales through marketing, networking, and staff incentives
  • Maintain budgeted revenues, cost of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow
  • Review monthly profit and loss statements and address variances

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in hospitality, ideally with projects exceeding $10 million
  • Food and Safety training (OSHA preferred)
  • Excellent management, delegation, and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • General business acumen
  • Expert knowledge of restaurant management systems
  • Ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and execute effectively
