Make a Difference in Dermatology

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced District Sales Lead to join our team at UCB. As a key member of our Dermatology sales team, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of Clinical Account Specialists to achieve sales goals and execute the Dermatology business strategy for the assigned market segment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team to raise UCB's presence in the Dermatology marketplace and ensure the execution of the Dermatology business strategy for the assigned market segment
  • Coach and develop a results-oriented team to understand and apply in-depth clinical expertise, business acumen, and effective selling skills
  • Build relationships with Key Dermatologists and KOLs within the district that facilitate a long-term partnership with UCB for today and the future
  • Develop and coach to a strong understanding of the patient journey of care, including the unique needs of patients with Psoriasis
  • Establish an understanding of the local healthcare ecosystems, including the payor environment
  • Demonstrate the UCB Patient Value Strategy principles by establishing collaborative and team-oriented working relationships and integrating within a matrix environment
  • Strategically manage all allocated resources such as financial/budgets, samples, access opportunities, and home office resources

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree BA/BS
  • 5+ years' experience in specialty Pharmaceuticals or Biotech
  • 3+ years management or supervisory in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical Industry
  • Experience with injectable biologics products
  • Discussing therapeutic strategies to inform and influence clinical decision makers
  • Developing and applying clinical and business expertise, and effective selling skills
  • Executing marketing strategies at the local level

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree
  • Launch experienced
  • Established relationships with Medical Dermatologists preferred
  • Demonstrated business and strategic planning skills to identify unique selling opportunities and adaptability to changing market conditions

Travel Requirements:

  • Ability to drive and/or fly to field rides, meetings and customer engagements
  • Overnight travel required 25-50%, depending on geographic assignment

This position's reasonably anticipated base salary range is $157,900-$207,300 annually. The actual salary offered will take into account internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills and experience, among other factors.
