Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with purchases.
  • Restock and maintain a clean and organized Meat and Seafood department, including rotating product and ensuring proper sanitation procedures are followed.
  • Prepare and display seafood items, including traying and labeling.
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve department and store goals.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Food safety training and certification preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 85 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Working Conditions

This position is continually exposed to a cool environment and dampness. There is frequent noise from the saws, exposure to cleaning solvents, and possibility of electrical shock.
