Team Coordinator, Patient Care Services Registered Nurse, Emergency Department

As a Team Coordinator, Patient Care Services Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will share the 24/7 responsibility to assist the manager for the daily operations of one or more clinical areas. You will supervise patient care services staff to ensure patient safety, provide high-quality outcomes, and an exceptional patient/family experience. You will also assist the manager in the development and monitoring of the departmental budget, coordinate purchasing and payroll processes, and serve as a technical/clinical resource to team members. Additionally, you will perform work assignments as needed to provide appropriate coverage and mentor/assist staff. You will assist the manager with interviewing, hiring, developing, and retaining staff members with the goal of developing a highly reliable work team. You may coordinate and/or assist with staff education, orientation, and precepting of members of the team. You will utilize effective communication and interpersonal skills and adapt your leadership style to support achieving department goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise patient care services staff to ensure patient safety and provide high-quality outcomes
- Assist manager in the development and monitoring of the departmental budget
- Coordinate purchasing and payroll processes

Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) degree
- 4-year RN Bachelor's Level Degree (BSN)
- Nursing Leadership experience
