A Retail Operations Specialist possesses in-depth knowledge of products and procedures across multiple retail stations at Eataly North America. This role involves engaging with customers to share insights about products and ingredients while providing tailored recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily operations at retail counters, ensuring a consistent and engaging presence on the sales floor by interacting with customers, team members, and suppliers.
- Maintain organized and visually appealing retail displays and refrigeration units, ensuring timely and accurate stocking.
- Assist in the movement and placement of merchandise throughout the store.
- Implement product rotation following First In First Out (FIFO) principles.
- Handle customer transactions during scheduled shifts, ensuring precise accounting of all sales, collections, and disbursements, including verifying employee discounts and processing returns.
- Report any pricing or labeling inconsistencies to the Manager or Shift Lead.
- Address customer feedback and concerns by communicating them to the Manager or Shift Lead.
- Weigh, label, showcase, sell, and package products according to departmental standards and customer preferences.
- Perform light cleaning tasks, including sweeping, dusting, and disposing of packaging materials as necessary.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned by management.
Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $17 to $21.
