Key Responsibilities- Service Delivery: Perform routine HVACR service activities without direct oversight or on-site assistance.
- Training and Development: Assist Senior Service Technicians in training other employees on service-related subjects, including call-back prevention and equipment protocols.
- Sales and Lead Generation: Conduct point-of-work sales of IAQ services, unit components, unit replacements, add-on units, and residential service contracts.
- Customer Interaction: Develop lead referrals for the sales staff and conduct non-service work in support of the IAQ and Installation Departments, as assigned.
- Team Collaboration: Perform related duties as directed by the Service Manager and work collaboratively with residential and commercial customers, suppliers, and other company employees.
- Education: High school graduate and graduate of a post-secondary HVACR program of instruction of two or more years in duration.
- Experience: Two or more years of successful experience as a HVAC service or installation technician.
- Skills: Good verbal and reading skills, including the ability to read and apply manufacturers' instructions and to clearly communicate with customers and other stakeholders.
- Physical Demands: Physical ability to perform all duties under various conditions, circumstances, and extreme weather conditions.
- Professional Development: Interest and initiative in maintaining and advancing HVACR skills through self-study, company training, manufacturers' workshops, and other professional development activities.
- Certifications: Georgia driver's license and ability to operate all vehicles in the corporate fleet within 30 days of initial employment.
