About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Analyst to join our team at Alcoa's Warrick Operations in Newburgh, Indiana. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and supporting operation tools used by a wide range of Alcoa employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Integrate and support manufacturing solutions that meet site expectations;
  • Gather information from various sources and databases;
  • Work closely with end-users to meet and address their specific needs;
  • Keep projects and reports aligned with Alcoa's standards;
  • Perform testing, customer training, deployment, and configuration activities;
  • Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving;
  • Participate in key digital initiatives;
  • Provide project support and implement improvements;
  • Document and maintain records for different reports and metrics;
  • Pursue continuous learning consistent with job requirements and technology changes;
  • Meet responsibilities outlined by ITAS compliance control protocols;
  • Assist team members in daily support functions;
  • Improve processes, procedures, and equipment to eliminate or minimize environmental and safety hazards;
  • Liaise with team members, Enterprise groups, and external providers to deliver common solutions;
  • Major customers include site production, maintenance, technical, and operations management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience;
  • 2+ years' experience in Information Technology in operating facilities preferred;
  • Reporting BI tools expertise (Excel, SSRS, Power BI, DAX, etc.);
  • Experience with transactional SQL Databases;
  • Experience with programming language such as.NET, C#;
  • Familiarity with DevOPS, AZURE environment, and concept;
  • Familiarity with DoForms and/or Mobile devices platform;
  • Timeseries System knowledge (OSIsoft PI Historian & PI Asset Framework);
  • Customer service orientation;
  • Analytical, good communication, and problem-solving skills.
