  • Team Management: Oversee and mentor junior engineers and technical staff, providing guidance and ensuring the quality of deliverables.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including PennDOT standards.
  • Project Management: Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to meet deadlines and achieve project goals.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license in Pennsylvania required.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in traffic engineering and transportation planning.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in traffic modeling and simulation software (e.g., Synchro, HCS, VISSIM, AutoCAD, MicroStation).
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of traffic signal design, roadway design, and safety analysis.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Project Management: Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of PennDOT procedures and regulations is preferred.
