Role Responsibilities
  • Encourage a culture of safety by promoting safe work practices and training others accordingly.
  • Evaluate operational processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and document Job Instructions.
  • Conduct training sessions for team members on safety protocols and monitor adherence to these practices.
  • Collaborate with management to facilitate training tasks for team members at designated workstations.
  • Provide feedback on team member performance during orientation.
  • Utilize the approved training methodology and maintain training records as required.
  • Conduct Quality Audits to ensure standards are met.
  • Ensure operators comply with Standard Work requirements.
  • Modify standard work procedures as necessary with appropriate approvals.
  • Act as a Trainer and Mentor for both new and existing employees.
  • Support various production lines by providing hands-on training to team members.
  • Facilitate cross-training initiatives to enhance employee skill sets.
  • Set up machinery and effectively teach others to perform this task independently.
  • Identify and resolve issues affecting process efficiency, including equipment and material concerns.
  • Monitor machine operations to detect defects or malfunctions.
  • Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to all safety regulations.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on equipment as needed.
  • Engage in Lean initiatives and participate in safety audits and continuous improvement practices.
Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficient in operating various types of industrial machinery.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs as required.
  • Able to work in environments with heat, noise, dust, fumes, and chemicals.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
