- Measuring and preparing essential ingredients such as stocks, sauces, and vegetables for cooking.
- Creating simple dishes, including soups, salads, and desserts.
- Ensuring proper storage and accessibility of all food items.
- Following recipes accurately, including measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients.
- Maintaining a clean and safe workspace, including the proper handling of utensils and equipment.
- Upholding food safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitoring food and cooling room temperatures.
- Evaluating the quality of ingredients received from suppliers.
- Executing opening and closing kitchen procedures.
- Operating kitchen appliances such as broilers, ovens, grills, and fryers.

- At least 6 months of experience in a culinary preparation or cooking role.
- Understanding of safety protocols, including safe temperature guidelines for food storage and preparation.

- Ability to maintain composure and work positively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Capability to follow instructions and recipes accurately to meet restaurant standards.
- Manual dexterity and coordination to handle kitchen tools, such as knives.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and handle high temperatures for extended periods.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
- Strong communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Food Handler Certification is required.
