Medical Oncology Infusion Contract RN

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncology Infusion Contract RN to join our team at the JH Kimmel Cancer Center. As a key member of our nursing team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients undergoing medical oncology infusion treatments.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing medical oncology infusion treatments
  • Administer chemotherapy and other medications as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report any concerns to physicians
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
Requirements
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in BSN program within 1 year of hire
  • 2+ years RN experience, with 1+ year dedicated to oncology/chemotherapy experience
  • ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy ONS Certification required
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support
