Job DescriptionThe Highway Project Director will be responsible for developing project scopes, schedules, and budgets, as well as managing contract negotiations and leading project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience in scope, schedule, and budget control, and the ability to contribute and work well on a team.
Responsibilities- Project Planning: Develops project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Team Leadership: Leads project teams, coordinates resources, and assigns responsibilities.
- Communication: Serves as primary liaison between parties involved in a project.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitors progress and measures project performance.
- Risk Management: Manages change requests and risk management techniques.
- Quality Assurance: Coordinates reviews of technical work to ensure high-quality performance.
- Client Satisfaction: Maintains relationships with clients and focuses on exceptional client service.
- Documentation: Documents project deliverables and maintains comprehensive records.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in highway or municipal design, including 5+ years of experience in a project management position.
- Certification: Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
- Software Skills: Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Compensation and Benefits- Annual Salary: $120,000 - $180,000.
