The Claims Consultant serves as a key representative, providing essential updates and support regarding claims to both clients and producers. This role is pivotal in overseeing the claims inventory, addressing inquiries, and offering expert consultation on claims-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Report to the Claims Operations Manager and/or Team Lead regarding workflow challenges and management of assigned claims.
  • Comprehend Claims Handling protocols and workflows.
  • Evaluate insurance policies to determine coverage eligibility.
  • File claims with the designated Carrier under the correct lines of coverage.
  • Engage with clients via phone and ensure timely responses to voice messages.
  • Communicate with clients through email, providing prompt replies.
  • Follow up with Carriers regarding claims status and updates.
  • Manage incoming electronic and physical correspondence, ensuring proper filing and follow-up.
  • Act as a liaison among clients, carriers, adjusters, vendors, and contractors.
  • Update company producers on claims status.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Perform additional related duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience in Property & Casualty.
  • Experience with Carrier, Agency, or Third-Party Administrator Claims is preferred.
  • P&C licensure is preferred.
