Job Title: Yard Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Yard Driver to join our team at Rehrig Pacific. As a Yard Driver, you will be responsible for conducting all activities and performing all job duties and functions following strict adherence to established safety behaviors, processes, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate in accordance with CSA Basics.
  • Complete all required truck and trailer inspections, yard checks, and other miscellaneous paperwork.
  • Make yard moves in an efficient and timely manner as directed by plant leadership.
  • Load and unload trailers, move pallets, freight, products, supplies, etc.
  • Effectively communicate with management on equipment needs and repairs as they arise.
  • Perform sanitation and good housekeeping practices in the assigned tractor and trailers.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of driving experience with a clean driving record.
  • Prior Forklift experience and certification preferred, but not required.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, production-based warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Current CDL Class A License preferred.
  • Current DOT Physical Card.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to successfully pass Random Drug Screens.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or comparable work-related experience preferred.
