Job Summary

The Substance Use/Mental Health Specialist is a critical member of our team, responsible for providing clinical therapeutic services to patients assigned to the CBI Forensic Assertive Community Treatment (F/ACT) team.

This role requires a strong understanding of behavioral health principles and the ability to work with patients and their families to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnoses of patients to identify treatment needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families
  • Provide ongoing clinical therapeutic services to patients, including individual and group therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with CBI's policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a field related to behavioral health or 1 year of clinical experience in substance abuse treatment
  • Master's Degree preferred but not required
  • 1-3 years of full-time healthcare-related work experience preferred but not required
