We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Nurse to join our team at Aldine Independent School District. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch medical care and support to students, teachers, and staff.

About the Job:

  • Position Type: Full-time Nurse/School Nurse - RN
  • Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year (dependent on experience)

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. As a School Nurse, you will work closely with teachers, administrators, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized plans to support student health and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide routine and emergency medical care to students, including administration of medications and treatments
  • Conduct health screenings and assessments to identify potential health concerns
  • Develop and implement health education programs to promote healthy behaviors and lifestyles
  • Collaborate with teachers and administrators to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to student health and wellness

Requirements:

  • Degree in Nursing (BSN or MSN) from an accredited institution
  • Current RN licensure in Texas
  • Experience working with children and families, preferably in a school setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
