Job Title: Collections Specialist

At Tyler Technologies, we are seeking a skilled Collections Specialist to join our Corporate Finance team. This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of customers comprised of City, State, and Local Government entities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interact professionally with external customers to resolve collection issues, including making collection calls.
  • Collaborate with the collections team to determine the best approach to resolve delinquent accounts.
  • Provide statements, invoices, and information to internal and external customers to facilitate collection issue resolution.
  • Maintain positive relationships with external customers and internal partners to ensure timely payments and issue resolution.
  • Prioritize and complete multiple collection efforts in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Call experience.
  • Accounting background is beneficial.
  • Microsoft Office experience.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
