Job Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated Facility Maintenance Specialist to ensure the efficient upkeep and operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional service with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Maintain cleanliness and polish furniture and fixtures.
  • Conduct minor repairs on doors, fixtures, and furniture.
  • Perform adjustments and minor repairs on heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Restore building interiors affected by fire, smoke, or water using professional cleaning equipment.
  • Ensure building security and safety by locking doors after hours and monitoring electrical appliance usage.
  • Assist in moving heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
  • Manage lawn care, including mowing and trimming, as well as debris clearance.
  • Notify management regarding the need for significant repairs or upgrades to building systems.
  • Clear snow from walkways and parking areas, applying snow-melting chemicals as necessary.
  • Order supplies and equipment for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Prepare facilities for special events by setting up and removing decorations, tables, chairs, and scaffolding.
  • Apply insecticides and fumigants to prevent pest infestations.
  • Oversee the work of contract cleaning crews.
  • Maintain building floors through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming; gather and dispose of trash; service and clean restrooms.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Possession of a valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license.
