  • Prepare precise financial reports and communicate findings effectively.
  • Delegate financial responsibilities within the accounting team.
  • Compile documentation for external audits to ensure compliance.
  • Exhibit a thorough understanding of tax regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
  • Collaborate with global teams for monthly financial closures and consolidation.
  • Organize and review the work of accounting staff to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Supervise accounting assistants and bookkeepers to enhance team performance.
  • Establish and document accounting policies and procedures to strengthen internal controls.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
  • Work closely with the accounting manager to refine financial processes.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a lead financial analyst with at least 6+ years in the field.
  • Strong grasp of fundamental accounting principles.
  • Extensive knowledge of GAAP regulations.
  • Exceptional organizational capabilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and analytical skills.
  • Thorough understanding of accounting practices and financial reporting standards.
  • Familiarity with accounting software is essential.
  • Educational background in accounting, finance, or a related discipline (BSc/Ba).
  • Experience with Sage Intacct accounting software is a plus.
