  • Keep abreast of advancements in tooling, equipment, and materials to ensure high-quality production while maintaining cost efficiency.
  • Evaluate tooling challenges and devise solutions using statistical techniques.
  • Support Sales in assessing the manufacturability of product designs.
  • Lead product modifications to improve performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Review current product designs to integrate enhancements in performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and operations to adapt to changing customer requirements.
  • Provide leadership, forecast work activities, and uphold positive employee relations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ISO/TS16949 standards and quality management systems.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
  • Expertise in statistical analysis for effective problem resolution.
  • Strong relationships with OEM customers and suppliers within the manufacturing sector.
  • Proficient knowledge of tooling, material processing, cost analysis, and CAD software.
  • Experience with APQP project management and GD&T specifications.
  • A commitment to mentoring, learning, and contributing positively to a team environment.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with Amada and Salvagnini software is advantageous.
