About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Structures Technician to join our team at First Class Air Support. As a key member of our aviation maintenance team, you will be responsible for assessing, repairing, and refurbishing airframe components and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and Repair Airframe Components: Use technical manuals, service bulletins, and other approved data to determine maintenance and repair requirements for airframe components and assemblies.
  • Provide Technical Support: Offer technical information to engineers for the development of repairs outside of approved data scope when required.
  • Perform Repair Operations: Conduct approved repair operations to structures, including sheet metal and other structures.
  • Overhaul Mechanical Assemblies: Repair and replace parts as needed to ensure mechanical assemblies are functioning properly.
  • Document Maintenance Actions: Record maintenance and repair actions per company and FAA requirements.
  • Maintain a Safe Working Environment: Ensure a safe and clean working environment at all times.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 Years' Experience: In aircraft structures, with a strong understanding of technical manuals and service bulletins.
  • High School Diploma: Or equivalent education.
  • Tool Proficiency: Own and be skilled in the use of structures and hand tools related to the responsibilities described above.
  • Print and Drawing Knowledge: Well-versed in the use of production and repair-related prints/drawings.
  • Measurement Skills: Ability to read precision measuring tools and instruments.
  • FAA Regulations: Working knowledge of FAA regulations, their interpretation, and application.
  • Computer Skills: Intermediate level computer skills, including basic use of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate technical subject matter both orally and in writing.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Leadership Experience: Experience working in a leadership/mentorship role.
  • Aviation Education: Associates degree in aviation maintenance or related field.
  • Airframe and Powerplant Certification: Airframe and Powerplant Certification.
