Position Summary:

The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for delivering comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients at Central Carolina Hospital. This includes providing drug information, therapeutic drug monitoring, pharmacokinetic dosing, renal dose adjustments, therapeutic interchange, IV to PO conversions, and patient education/counseling.

As a subject matter expert, you will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe medication practices. You will advocate for the appropriate use of medications and align prescribing, dispensing, administration, and monitoring functions with established policies and procedures.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy is required.

A Master's degree is preferred.

A Doctoral degree is also preferred.

Additional Qualifications:
Experience in a hospital or similar pharmacy setting is preferred. Strong computer skills are essential. Clear communication skills, both written and oral, are required.

Licensure:

NCBOP Pharmacist Licensure is required.
