Texas Health Resources - Inpatient Rehabilitation

Position Type: PRN (As Needed)

A dynamic and high-demand rehabilitation environment is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist.

Location:
Texas Health Resources

Schedule:
PRN – As Needed

Flexible weekdays and weekends, with holiday rotation responsibilities. A minimum of 36 hours per quarter is required, including 16 weekend hours.

Qualifications:

- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent
- Preferred 1 year of experience in adult acute or rehabilitation care
- Valid Texas Speech Language Pathology License
- BCLS certification
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong problem-solving capabilities
- Commitment to lifelong learning
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Basic leadership abilities

Key Responsibilities

- Perform patient evaluations and create tailored treatment plans
- Deliver age-appropriate therapeutic interventions
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment strategies and safety measures
- Ensure patient safety throughout the treatment process
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals on patient care matters
