About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Hospice team at PruittHealth. As a Hospice Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care services to patients, including bathing, oral hygiene, skin care, and hair care.
  • Assist with transfers, ambulation, and exercise as ordered and assigned.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding of patients.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
  • Coordinate care with the primary nurse and director of health services.
  • Document patient progress and problems in accordance with agency policy and procedures.
  • Attend regular meetings of the interdisciplinary team and participate in developing, implementing, and evaluating the plan of care.
Requirements
  • Active, current, unrestricted Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of practice.
  • Ability to read, write, and carry out directions.
  • Empathetic attitude toward the care of the terminally ill and their families.
  • Understanding and commitment to the mission of PruittHealth Hospice.
