Key Responsibilities:
Samsung Semiconductor Inc. is seeking a candidate with a robust background and expertise in CMOS technology development. The selected individual will focus on the advancement of CMOS devices intended for next-generation memory technologies.

The Principal Device Engineer at Samsung Semiconductor will play a pivotal role in expanding Samsung's memory business, establishing technological leadership, and identifying market opportunities.


Work Environment:

Hybrid, with a requirement to work onsite at our headquarters 3 days a week, while enjoying the flexibility to work remotely for the remaining time.

Responsibilities Include:
- Develop CMOS technology for next-generation DRAM solutions.
- Collaborate with design and process integration teams to outline CMOS development strategies.
- Identify device requirements for advanced memory products and propose enhancement solutions.
- Work alongside process integration, design, and modeling teams for device optimization.
- Define electrical test structure designs for transistor characterization and related items.
- Analyze electrical parametric data from silicon and provide statistical data analysis for improvements.
- Engage with cross-functional teams in process development, circuit design, and quality assurance to meet product requirements.
- Analyze and interpret feedback from inline inspection and measurement data to enhance performance and reliability.
- Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:

A BS degree with 20+ years of industry experience; an MS with 18+ years of experience; or a PhD with 15+ years of experience is preferred.

10+ years of experience in device engineering and development, with a preference for TCAD simulation and modeling experience.
Proven achievements and expertise in CMOS and memory access device engineering are required.
Strong understanding of Design of Experience principles and analytical skills.
Proficient in statistical data analysis software.
Ability to adapt communication style to diverse global norms and situations.
A continuous learner, approaching challenges with curiosity and resilience, and seeking data to build understanding.
A collaborative individual who builds relationships, offers support, and welcomes diverse approaches.
Innovative and creative, proactively exploring new ideas and adapting swiftly to change.
