Job Title: LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Outpatient Oncology

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Cancer Care Associates of York INC.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide safe, direct, and efficient care and services under the direct supervision of a registered nurse or licensed physician. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and a passion for learning and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing venipuncture, and collecting lab samples.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with office policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
  • Current licensure as a Practical Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Completion of a board-certified education program in venipuncture and IV therapy (IV certification) is preferred.
  • CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • 1-2 years of acute care experience or 3-4 years of staff nursing experience as an LPN is preferred.
