Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Exercise Physiologist-Resource to join our team at NorthShore University HealthSystem. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with cardiac arrhythmias, while also contributing to the development and implementation of exercise programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement exercise programs for patients with cardiac arrhythmias, taking into account their individual needs and medical conditions.
- Conduct EKG interpretations and provide recommendations for exercise testing and training.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in exercise physiology and cardiac rehabilitation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and arrhythmias.
- Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in cardiac rehabilitation or exercise physiology.
- BLS CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
