Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for treating cancer and other diseases in patients by administering radiation treatments according to treatment plans.
Responsibilities- Administer radiation treatments to patients according to treatment plans.
- Maintain detailed records of all therapy sessions with strict adherence to safety responsibilities and guidelines.
- Work effectively with sensitive and confidential material and sometimes emotionally charged matters.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in radiation therapy and oncology.
- Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- One year of experience in radiation therapy highly preferred.
- Experience with hematology/oncology/radiation oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is a plus.
- Valid Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT/RTT) license required.
- ARRT Certified, BLS Certified, CPR Certified.
