Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Veterinarian to join our team at Veritas Veterinary Partners. As a critical care specialist, you will provide top-quality medical care to patients presenting with non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency medical care to patients, including triage, diagnosis, and treatment
- Collaborate with our boarded specialists to ensure seamless patient care
- Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their understanding of their pet's condition and treatment options
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements and best practices
Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution
- Current veterinary licensure in the state of Colorado
- Experience in emergency veterinary care, preferably in a hospital setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
