About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Machinist to join our team at Sandvik Coromant. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC grinding equipment to produce high-quality parts and tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC grinding equipment to perform machining tasks.
  • Perform in-process inspection to ensure product quality and compliance with production guidelines.
  • Make major adjustments to CNC programs and set-ups as required, document, and report any and all adjustments/corrections.
  • Operate multiple production machines and use manufacturing reporting systems.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree or Diploma from a Technical College or Trade School preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of CNC grind experience.
  • Experience with machining and cutting operations required.
  • Knowledge of 5S and lean manufacturing preferred.
