We are on the lookout for motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Service Specialists to join our team and deliver exceptional service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, addressing mechanical and electrical issues, engine and transmission concerns, suspension and steering, and HVAC systems.
- Understand and execute repair orders as assigned.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and software to pinpoint issues and suggest necessary repairs. Conduct thorough inspections and troubleshooting to assess repair requirements.
- Perform quality control checks to verify that repairs are completed to standards. Ensure all documentation is accurate and complies with regulations.
- Maintain shop cleanliness and safety standards, contributing to the efficient operation of the shop through tasks such as inventory management.
- Adhere to all shop policies, procedures, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and Parts department staff.
- Engage in company-sponsored training and certification programs to enhance your skills. Attend all required meetings and educational sessions.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Completion of post-secondary automotive training or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience of at least one year in a dealership or large facility.
- Comprehensive knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional demeanor and reliability.
- Focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
- Basic computer and internet proficiency.
