About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Professional to join our Sales Team at MH Equipment. As a Territory Sales Professional, you will be responsible for increasing market share, sales, and gross profit of New, Used, and Allied Equipment, Long Term Maintenance Agreements (LTM's), and other support services available from MH Equipment Company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create sales, gross profit, and increase market shares in assigned territories.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through regular sales visits and communications.
  • Identify target prospects and create strategic action plans to develop new accounts.
  • Assist customers with demos, application surveys, and changeover needs on products.
  • Follow up on all customer leads from external and internal sources.
  • Participate in product promotions and manage custom programs installed at assigned accounts.
  • Initiate, maintain, manage, and process quotations and orders in accordance with Company policy and procedures.
  • Use CRM tools to maintain customer information files and notes.
  • Resolve customer issues, problems, or complaints to satisfy customers.
  • Support account terms and assist in account collection if required.
  • Participate in determination of credits and/or returns.
  • Enhance vendor relations by supporting programs and working with their representatives.
  • Attend and participate in sales and company meetings.
  • Participate in company-sponsored training sessions for enhancing selling skills and technical knowledge.
  • Produce periodic budgets, plans of action, summaries, and other reports as required by management.
Requirements
  • Experience in industrial sales with a focus on material handling sales preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to display honesty, ethics, and integrity.
  • Ability to organize a selling plan and exhibit time management skills.
  • Competency in time and territory management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and web searches.
  • Must meet physical requirements of the job.
  • Must have prompt and regular attendance.
Working Conditions

The Territory Sales Professional will work in a fast-paced sales environment, with flexibility to work when customer needs require it. The position may exceed a 40-hour workweek, with some overnight travel and weekend work. A reliable car is required for travel in the territory.
