Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Materials Manager to join our team at Hubbard Pipe & Supply Inc. This role is responsible for managing the flow of materials into and out of our facilities, ensuring that we have the right products in stock at the right time.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the procurement process from start to finish, including sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials and services.
  • Analyze market trends and supplier performance to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and prices.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Microsoft Office ability
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Solar Eclipse ERP system knowledge preferred
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time
  • Must be able to navigate the warehouse and reach items both high and low
  • Minimum 1 year in a similar position (2 years preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years in progressive position (3 years preferred)
Estimated Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year.
