Job Description

In the United States, the estimated salary for this role is $45,000 to $65,000 per year. Gypsum Management & Supply, Inc. is a leading distributor of building materials seeking a reliable and skilled Freight Delivery Specialist to join our team.

As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for safely operating a commercial motor vehicle, delivering building materials to assigned areas, and providing excellent customer service.

The primary functions of this role include:

  • Inspecting the truck and trailer for defects prior to operation.
  • Loading and unloading building materials from the flatbed or boom truck at commercial and residential job sites.
  • Delivering materials to assigned areas as directed by customers while prioritizing personal safety and the safety of others.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), a high school diploma or equivalent, and a clean three-year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR). They should also have overall knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations and be able to lift heavy building materials up to 100 pounds.
