My Ace Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Snellville, GA.
About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced LPN to provide one-to-one patient care in a home environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and be able to work independently.
Job DescriptionAs an LPN at My Ace Healthcare, you will be responsible for:
- Demonstrating high-level interpersonal and communication skills to serve patients and family members in a professional manner.
- Providing one-to-one patient care in a home environment, including assessing patients for stability and following through with doctor's orders.
- Verifying medication information, including milligrams, last day dosed, take outs received, phase level, and guest doses.
- Documenting patient complaints, vital signs, current medication, and allergies accurately and thoroughly.
- Performing health promotion, teaching, and training of family members as necessary.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited LPN program.
- A good standing license (LPN) in the state of Georgia.
- At least 12 months of hands-on nursing experience.
- Current CPR certification.
- Comfortable providing in-home nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents.
- Proficiency in EMRs and computer systems.
- Experience with GTube, Trach/Vent, and other medical equipment.
