Job Summary:
Lakeshore Community Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of DSP III House Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating a residential program for individuals with intellectual disability and possibly behavior problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate efforts with an interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Supervise approximately six to eight DSP I & II level staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the success of the program.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote the health, safety, and well-being of program participants.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication.
- Monitor and report on program outcomes, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with less than two years' employment experience working with individuals with intellectual disability.
- Associate's Degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university and less than four years but at least two years' work experience with intellectual disabilities.
- High School diploma or equivalent education and three years' work experience with intellectual disabilities and supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Supervisory experience
- Experience working with mentally, emotionally ill, and/or behaviorally challenged individuals or autism
- Counseling education and/or experience
- Teaching and/or other experience in the field of education
- Nursing, nurse's aide, or other experience in the field of health care
