Job Summary

Kosmos is seeking a highly skilled Process Optimization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for driving process improvements and ensuring the efficient utilization of resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Analysis and Optimization: Conduct thorough analyses of our manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Lean and Six Sigma Implementation: Promote and utilize Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements and eliminate non-value-added activities.
  • Project Management: Lead and support process improvement projects, ensuring timely delivery of results and effective control of project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including management and engineering staff, to implement plans and recommendations.
  • Reporting and Data Analysis: Develop and maintain management systems for cost analysis, financial planning, and job evaluation, as well as track and record pertinent data for developmental products.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 3+ years of Process Engineering experience.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, process analysis and optimization, and project management.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
