Position Overview

Job Title: Desktop Support Technician

Location: St Petersburg, Florida

Role Summary

Are you ready to elevate your career in the IT sector? We are seeking dedicated individuals to fulfill the role of Desktop Support Technician. This position is integral to our ongoing collaboration with esteemed clients, where you will be responsible for a variety of Desktop Support tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive Workstation Software troubleshooting and repair services.
  • Manage IMAC processes, including PC installations, relocations, additions, and modifications.
  • Conduct image loading for workstations.
  • Oversee asset recovery and tagging initiatives.
  • Provide printer support and maintenance.
  • Assist clients at the Client Center (Tech Bar).
  • Update IT Service Management systems as required.
  • Perform additional client support duties to ensure optimal workstation functionality and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in Desktop Support is preferred, but training will be provided for entry-level candidates.
  • Familiarity with PC imaging processes.
  • Experience in change management and incident management protocols.
  • Proficient in utilizing tools such as ServiceNow, Bomgar, LapLink, and Secure Disk Wipe.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification as a Dell Technician.
  • Expertise in inventory management.
  • Possession of an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Requirements
  • Must reside within a commutable distance to St Petersburg, Florida, and be prepared to work onsite.
  • This position requires U.S. citizenship due to government contract stipulations.
