Position Overview

The Chief Anesthesiologist role at Napaanesthesia involves overseeing the Anesthesia Department, ensuring high-quality care and patient safety during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate the activities within the Anesthesia Department.
  • Manage the medical care of patients undergoing anesthesia for surgical and medical procedures.
  • Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent from patients.
  • Discuss anesthetic options and associated risks with patients.
  • Administer anesthesia and monitor patients' vital signs throughout the procedure.
  • Perform necessary clinical interventions as required.

Qualifications

  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical institution.
  • Completion of an accredited residency program in anesthesia.
  • Current medical licensure.
  • ECFMG and FLEX certification.
